Before wiring, we need to understand the composition of the four pins of the push button switch.
Taking ONPOW four-pin button switch as an example, it is usually a push button with LED light indication, where the LED light is used to display the working status of the button. At this point, two of the four pins are responsible for supplying power to the LED, while the other two are responsible for controlling the circuit.
Tips: The conventional way to distinguish between LED pins and switch pins is to check if there are markings next to the pins. LED pins are usually marked with "+" and "-", while switch pins are usually marked with "no" or "nc".
It is important to note here that before installation, you should confirm the voltage requirement for the LED power supply and ensure that your current circuit has a compatible voltage to avoid the LED indicator light not working properly.
Another scenario is when all four pins are for controlling the circuit. If the four-pin button switch does not come with a light, then this situation can be confirmed. In this case, just make sure not to connect the wires of the two circuits incorrectly.
Here is a wiring diagram for illuminated push button(The picture above). Before wiring, please ensure that your power supply matches the LED indicator on the button.
